- Energy Star The three office buildings at Harris Corners received an Energy Star label: One Harris Corners = Energy Star score of 78, Two Harris Corners = Energy Star score of 77 and Three Harris Corners = Energy Star score of 85
- Recycling Since August 2008, the trash/recycling at Harris Corners has been removed by Plyler Paper. The great thing about this company is that after they pick up the contents of our dumpster, they bring it back to their facility where they handpick the paper, aluminum, plastic, cardboard and glass. After separating the recyclable materials, they are picked up by companies that will actually recycle them. They currently have a recycling recovery rate of 68%
- Water Efficient Landscaping The common areas throughout Harris Corners utilize water from an exiting on-site irrigation pond
- Hybrid Parking There are two designated parking spaces near the front of each of the buildings at Harris Corners for hybrid vehicles
- Transit Bicycle storage racks are located at each of the building. Public transportation is encouraged via the two bus existing stops at Harris Corners. A future rail stop is planned at the W. WT Harris Blvd. and Highway 115, less than one mile from Harris Corners
- Lighting All used light bulbs at Harris Corners are recycled through Nova Lighting. Motion detectors on all of the lights in all of the restrooms and fitness centers were installed in 2009. These devices are programmed to stay on as along as it senses movement, if no motion is detected after 20 minutes, they automatically turn off
- Green Cleaning Products The janitorial company used at Harris Corners supports and practices green cleaning to ensure a healthy work environment by using products and equipment that have been green seal certified. These products range from disinfecting chemicals, which are used on a daily basis through out the buildings, to equipment with micro and hepa-filter technology
