Pine Lake Preparatory is an innovative public charter school that provides the benefits of an independent school curriculum within a nurturing and environmentally sensitive campus. Beacon Partners worked with Pine Lake in 2007 to develop a customized and cost effective permanent campus solution. The school opened a K-2 program off-site in August 2007 and relocated to the new permanent K-12 campus in September 2008. The project includes two three-story classroom buildings, totaling 87,280 SF.Pine Lake Preparatory Quick Facts:
- Located on Highway 115, just 3 miles north of Davidson College and one-half mile from the Lowes Home Improvement Corporate HQ, Pine Lake’s 22.7 acre, master planned campus was designed to accommodate 1,400 students.
- The campus was developed using environmentally friendly sustainable design practices, storm water filtering, native plant and drought resistant species for the landscaping and energy efficient lighting.
