Since our inception in 1989, development has been a core strength. We started small and grew incrementally, learning with each project. Today, we have a base of development experience, which includes many new business parks as well as over 10 million square feet (and $620 million of invested capital) of office, flex, warehouse, retail and educational facilities. Pine Lake Preparatory is an innovative public charter school that provides the benefits of an independent school curriculum within a nurturing and environmentally sensitive campus.

Flex
1989, Beacon assembled approximately 90 acres of land along W. WT Harris Boulevard, a key thoroughfare in North Charlotte. The site had an excellent location in a growing area of the city that was underserved by quality business parks.

In 1994, Beacon Partners purchased 75 acres at the intersection of I-77 and W. WT Harris Boulevard, and shortly thereafter constructed roads and utilities for Harris Corners Corporate Park.

In 1994 we purchased approximately 90 acres not far from the intersection of I-77 and I-85 in Charlotte to develop Long Creek Business Park – a bulk warehouse project that would attract regional and national distributors.
