Work Life Balance

At Beacon Partners we try to walk the walk regarding work life balance. It starts with an appreciation for our employee’s total family and recognizing that our people do some of their most important work after they leave the office. We start by offering a flex time policy that encourages employees to set their daily schedule in a way that is most optimal for their family. We offer three weeks of vacation after one year of service and provide a full array of benefits to aid our families in managing their healthcare and financial matters. Our social committee plans at least two events every year where the entire Beacon family gets together to celebrate. Given the number of young dependents we have, one of our annual favorites is Breakfast with Santa at the office. We also recognize that our employees want to be active citizens in the Charlotte area. To encourage community involvement we provide matching grants for charitable giving, monthly time off for volunteering, and school visit leave for working parents. We also try to facilitate better access to information by giving all employees remote access to their desktop to make working from home as convenient as possible. Finally, the best way to insure balance is regularly promote it. We do this by doing little things throughout the year to allow employees to spend quality time with family; tickets to football games, friends & family afternoons off, and deliberate reminders of what’s really important.
