The company’s initial objective in the fall of 1989 was to develop a 90-acre tract of land along Harris Boulevard, located just north of the Charlotte CBD.  Today that property is known as Northwoods Business Park and includes 15 buildings, totaling nearly 850,000 square feet.  The success of Northwoods helped Beacon pave the way for future development and acquisition opportunities.  Since 1989, we have developed or acquired more than 6 million square feet of office, flex and industrial space. 

Perhaps our greatest accomplishment over the years is that we have assembled a wonderful group of employees who are committed to achieving great results in every aspect of our business.  Our firm includes 24 professionals engaged in development, acquisition, leasing, property management, accounting, construction management and office administration.
