Tim Shaughnessy - Director Of Finance | Beacon Development

Tim has headed Beacon’s accounting and finance departments since joining the company in 1999.  His current responsibilities at Beacon include working closely with our asset managers to help arrange financing and provide oversight of our current portfolio.  He manages the company’s banking relationships, coordinates all financing activities and facilitates the closing transactions for new developments, acquisitions, and dispositions.  He has been involved in the real estate industry for the majority of his professional career since graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.S. in Business Management.

Tim is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).  He volunteers as a teacher through the Junior Achievement program at Statesville Road Elementary School, and serves on several local charitable educational and athletic boards and committees.  Tim enjoys coaching youth athletics, and has coached many local baseball, football, and basketball teams.

Originally from Cleveland, OH, Tim pulls for the Cleveland Browns as well as the Carolina Panthers.  He is married with three children and enjoys family movie night, beach vacations, and spending time with his wife and children.
