Pete Lash - Managing Partner - Charlotte | Beacon Development

Pete and Beacon’s founder, Ed Weisiger, Jr. became partners in the fall of 1989.  Since that time, Pete has served as President and Managing Partner.  He oversees the company’s development and acquisition activities as well as Beacon’s service offerings.  Pete holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Pete is a past President of the Charlotte Chapter of NAIOP and has also served as a National Board Member for National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).  He is a past Chair of the Dowd YMCA Board of Managers and past President of the Youth Homes Board of Directors.  He currently serves as a mentor and Junior Achievement teacher at Statesville Road Elementary School and is on the Executive Committee of the Board for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and Social Venture Partners.

Pete’s faith and his family are far and away the most important parts of his life.  He’s an active volunteer at his church and loves spending time with his wife and four children.
