As Controller, Nathan oversees all accounting functions and activities of all Beacon Partners, Oaklane Capital and third-party managed properties, which includes supervising cash management and producing monthly property reports. He also provides supervision and reporting capacity to our property accounting team. Nathan works with our property managers, asset management team, investment partners and outside tax accounting firm to provide accurate and timely financial information. He has over seven years of experience providing tax and accounting services as a former Tax Manager at Greer & Walker LLP. Nathan holds a Masters in Accountancy from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Wingate University.
Nathan is a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Nathan grew up in Marshville, NC and is married with four children and enjoys spending time with them. He is active in his church, where he volunteers in the children’s ministry and music ministry. Nathan also enjoys golf and vacationing at the beach with his family.
