Mike Harrell - Partner - Office Development | Beacon Partners

Mike has been employed with Beacon Partners since 1996 and has served in a variety of leasing, development and asset management roles.  Today, Mike oversees Beacon’s office development and acquisitions program and has asset management responsibilities for a number of key investments including Harris Corners Corporate Park, LakeField Corporate Center and SouthCross Corporate Center.  During his tenure, he has completed over 1 million square feet of development projects.  Mike graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in History.

Mike is past President of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and South Carolina.  He is a member of Charlotte Regional Partnership Business Development Committee and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).  Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for Social Venture Partners and Communities in School.  He is a graduate of the Leadership Charlotte Class of XXIV.

A native of New York, Mike worked in New Zealand before settling back to the Charlotte area. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his four children, vacationing in Atlantic Beach, NC and cheering for the UNC Tar Heels.
